The 12th Annual Regina Scrabble tournament was played over a cold, rainy weekend. Players from Saskatoon braved the elements on their drive down as an early snowfall hit central Saskatchewan. 32 players competed, including 4 from Alberta, 7 from Manitoba, and 1 from New Mexico. Our facility, the new Regina Bridge Club, received compliments all weekend for its brightness, cleanliness, and location.

Other prizes were rewarded for best “B-C” word (to recognize our Bridge Club facility), highest scoring combined game (HSCG), and “championship” word.

The trophy for top performance by a Saskatchewan player for 2018 was awarded to George (74%) narrowly edging out Michael L (72%)
